Homeschool Graduation

April 20, 2020

Now that schools are officially using distance learning for the rest of the year…. this is for you primary care giver. You were thrown into this new territory and it was a struggle learning the tech and the terminology and the schedule. I hear you. I celebrate you. You stepped up and and did the best you could. 👏. Pop a bottle to celebrate yourself and family’s successes in 6 weeks when the school year ends.
Bottle hand engraved by me! (Available for gifting to that special quarantine teacher in your life)

Engraved Fragrance Bottle

April 17, 2020

Fragrance bottle gift

I’m a southern girl and love a monogram on… pretty much everything. This engraved fragrance bottle with a monogram and date is so thoughtful. Each time the bottle is used, a pleasant memory of the wedding day can be revisited. Scent triggers memories very quickly and I like the idea of having the visual cue on the bottle as well.

Monogrammed perfume bottle

I think this is such a lovely gift from a mother to daughter on her wedding day. It feels like a right of passage getting your married fragrance with your new name or initials on it. This is also a wonderful gift for any holiday or celebration (Mother’s Day). Adding that extra special touch to a fragrance bottle for a gift indicates a certain level of thoughtfulness.

How to order

How to order an engraved fragrance bottle is easy! You purchase the bottle of your choice and send to me. I will have you complete an order form with the words you want written on your bottle. It will be completed by the time agreed upon and returned to you.

Engraved perfume bottle

There are options like gold or silver fill for the engraving. You could use a monogram or names. I can even add a few flowers to the design if there is space on the bottle. Contact me today to place your order!

Dallas Wedding Calligrapher – New Website

October 18, 2013

Well, most of you are probably familiar with the new look as of May, but I am thrilled to introduce you to my new and updated website.  She is clean and easy to use and bright and shiny!

To show off a few of the newest features – my favorite page is the new styles page!  First of all, you now have an option to save a style to compare to other styles right next to each other.  This is awesome!

You can also click on the style itself to open up to a photo of it on an envelope.  Also, really cool so now you can see more of what the lettering looks like in a group for addressing.

The next page with a total make over was the pricing page.  All the rates are the same, just with more photos so you can see what centering is and place cards verses escort cards.  There is a more extensive pricing list as well for the design pieces now highlighting the invitation components and bride and groom name in addition to menu, program and invitation design.

The shop had a major overhaul also with a easier to use interface, faster checkout and more photos and products! The bottom of this page also has a few great resources: the guest list templates as well as a new FAQ’s sheet to help answer some of the most common questions burning your brain at 2 am.

Finally, the contact page has an extensive questionnaire to make the custom ordering/quote process so much easier by asking all the questions I need answered.  The goal was easier and faster for my clients and I think we accomplished that 🙂

Oh and did you notice the new colors – GOLD!  Love the updated look and clean lines of everything.  This is one to hang around awhile 🙂

Many thanks to the photographers who generously allowed me to use their work (see credits on site) as well as Alison with One and Only for designing this beautiful website. (USE her – Alison describes her self as a “web designer for people who make things” – she is perfect for understanding the small business of selling).

Modern German Calligraphy – Luden & Luder Photobook

November 28, 2012

I loved working with a Munich company on this catalogue for spectacles.  Each frame was named and had a different (but cohesive) lettering style.  The cover is just stunning and every bit of the inside is beautiful.  I have several picks for some new glasses now 🙂

Logo Calligraphy – Joyce Kang Photography Austin, Texas

November 23, 2012

I am smitten with the new logo for Joyce.  Joyce Kang is a talented photographer based out of Austin, Texas and needed a refreshed look to express her style of photography.  We created a custom logo that I feel truly represents her photography – happy and full of life and movement.  She does such a great job at capturing her subjects personality and I hope I did the same for her.  You can see the new look on her website and with a few lovely stamps to be used in her packaging.  The large one is so large for packages – I LOVE IT!
