This wedding was amazing.  Held at the Fort Worth Zoo, Lindsey and Reid had flamingos, penguins, sparkle, shine and lace at their fall fete.

I also wanted to show my other lovely design for Bella Figura this year – Aquinnah.

This one is a combination of Mitty and capitals.  The feeling is so different from the last with printing in navy and powder blue.  It is perfect for a destination wedding – whether it is a fancy chateau outside of Paris or a simply lovely beach front wedding.  It really is a universal design and has a feeling of being written by hand – like a love letter to your guests.

Wedding season is in full swing!  And I have 2 new invitation designs with the lovely & wonderful Bella Figura.

The first is…. awesome.  I used the mitty font in classic black and jazzed it up by placing all the lettering on an angle and adding touches of copper (yes, real copper!) for an accent.  Let me tell you – in person this suite (Gracieux) really shines.

Place your order now.  And for those of you who say – how long does a calligraphy invitation take? My rule of thumb is: allow 3 weeks for designing with Bella Figura, 2 weeks for printing and 2 weeks for calligraphy addressing.    It is better to be early because rush fees can add up!

$0.46 for 1 oz, $0.66 for 2 oz and $0.86 for 3 oz letters.  Priority mail rates have also gone up to $5.60 for flat rate envelopes $19.95 for express flat rate envelopes.

Your forever stamps are still valid without additional postage needed!

I’m a big fan of hand delivered invitations.  This summer I worked with Fluent Dallas addressing some very special invitations to their concierge services.  Each one contained a personal access code – fancy.

We kept the lettering classic in black ink and modern with the Kegan style.

I love being a Bella Figura calligrapher.  They are wonderful to work with, their bamboo papers are heaven to write on and the designs have such a great range of aesthetics.  Also, because of them – I get to work with the coolest clients.

This summer, I was asked to address these envelopes for an Austin, Texas bride and groom.  The patterns and colors are wonderful and made me want to run away to the beach.

Meredith and Julian married at the Greenbrier in West Virginia and it was a beautiful wedding!  You can see photos from the entire weekend on their Style Me Pretty feature. I had the pleasure of working on the rehearsal dinner calligraphy.  We did table numbers, seating cards, food signs and directional signs – all in glittering gold on deep black paper.  Everything turned out beautiful.  All photos are provided by the talented Christian Oth Studio.

I LOVE seeing the bride & groom looking for their seating card at the event!  So wonderful.

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of working with Ebony Peoples on a fun wedding favor.  A personalized dinner charger.  I think they turned out stunning and would be really wonderful personalized to the guest for a small dinner or holiday gathering where everyone is seated.

I am smitten with the new logo for Joyce.  Joyce Kang is a talented photographer based out of Austin, Texas and needed a refreshed look to express her style of photography.  We created a custom logo that I feel truly represents her photography – happy and full of life and movement.  She does such a great job at capturing her subjects personality and I hope I did the same for her.  You can see the new look on her website and with a few lovely stamps to be used in her packaging.  The large one is so large for packages – I LOVE IT!
