When you have a Mexico destination wedding….you go for color and texture and FUN!
This past year I had the pleasure of contributing to many celebrations in Mexico and wanted to share a few of the print pieces with you.
This save the date was laser cut in the picadillo style in a hot pink with calligraphy envelope addressing to match.
One of my favorite projects of the year were these laser cut limes for an escort card display. The welcome glasses contained a shot of tequila and it made for the most fun presentation to start of a fun night.
These oranges were actually hung in a tree brought into the reception area for the escort cards. It made for a stunning statement right upon entry.
How can you go wrong with laser cut, watercolor & gold foiled palms. I loved this suite by Emily Clarke Events and really enjoyed the envelope addressing in white using my brushy Samantha script.
For the same wedding as above, the rehearsal dinner had a different more organic and natural tone. These place cards on leather really added to the texture and dimension of the table setting.
These place cards were used for a welcome dinner as well and the tags were tied around a personal bottle of tequila. I adore that the card was printed to match a handpainted tile (used for the table runner). My casual mitty script in ultramarine to match gave the table setting a casual welcoming feel.
