It is always a privilege to work on the genius pieces that happen when Southern Fried Paper and Jacin Fitzgerald join forces. This destination California wedding with it’s escort wall in a stunning tile and calligraphy was no exception.
The guests were greeted by an amazing escort wall. The tile backdrop served as a photo/ selfie-station backdrop after all the seating cards were removed.
The escort cards were actually leather luggage tags I penned with the guest names. We used my Samantha script in white ink and they turned out lovely. The other side indicated the table number was designed by Southern Fried Paper.
One of my favorite features of this event were the place cards. Southern Fried Paper ordered handmade terra cotta tiles from a Texas local and I put the guest names on in white calligraphy using the same style. These tiles were hefty at about a pound a piece. A great idea to help weight down menus for a windy California destination wedding.
These looked so good on the stunning tabletop Jacin designed. I adore the loose florals and little dishes on the table to really give it some depth. These chargers topped by a wrapped napkin and menu and the tile really give a flat table some dimension and texture that makes me want to sit there chatting and laughing all night!
