Wow. It’s been almost a year since my little sister graduated from Texas Tech. To help make the celebration extra special we sent out a few lovely announcements in her honor. Since it was a December graduation I wanted to add a little glitz and glam to everything.
All lettering and layout was written and designed by me. The fonts used are Ellen and Zanner. While her name was being made into a custom calligraphy stamp I gathered the mailing addresses. Then I printed the black lettering on stardream silver shimmer paper and cut down to size. Next, I used that stamp + red ink + red embossing powder to emboss her name on the invitation for that wet sparkly look. Everything was mounted on a thick red shimmer card stock.
After addressing the gorgeous black envelopes with silver ink in the Zanner font and creating a fun return address logo – the envelopes were lined with a eye catching black and white damask pattern. Finally stamps (black and white stars of course) were applied and we were ready to mail!
If you are looking for a graduation announcement – let me know!

These pictures are great – but still don’t do them justice! The envelope was such a teaser to what was in side…..the announcements were absolutely stunning – not to mention unique! And we all like to be unique!! Fantastic creation, Nicole!

These envelopes are gorgeous. I have been looking for black envelopes lined with damask. Did you make these yourself or did you purchase these? If so, where did you purchase these from? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!
