Christina and Caswell had a lovely wedding in Fort Worth and used Paradise Design Company for their invitations. I was excited to work with Alyssa’s clients – they are always super. Christina requested a font and color match to the invitation design.

Last year Lauren called asking if I could help her with her wedding calligraphy and I was thrilled to work on her beautiful invitations. Wanting to keep the affair classic and comfortable we chose the Dylan font in a walnut brown ink to coordinate her wedding stationery.
Last summer I had the pleasure of addressing Ashley’s envelopes for her Austin wedding in October. Ashley wanted an over the top flourished lettering style for her lovely letterpressed invitations.
We decided the talia font in black ink was the perfect fit. It turned out lovely!
Last week I was thrilled to be invited to the Texas Wedding Guide Cake Competition at the Magnolia Hotel. A “little” contest among some of the finest Dallas bakeries to determine who is best 🙂
Everything in Dallas is larger than life and these cakes proved it!
The sweeter than sugar wedding vendors : Opulent Cakes, Sugar Bee Sweets, Crème de la Crème, Sweet Memories Cakes & Catering, Elegant Cakery, Romano’s Bakery, The Cake Guys, Elena’s Cakes, and The Classic Gourmet.
My favorite details from the night were the delicate little touches of sugar paste flowers and pleating. When I have another large party that requires a fancy cake – it should definitely be covered top to bottom in those delicate little flowers. LOVE!
