Published Calligraphy in D Weddings Magazine – Nicole & Casey

August 9, 2010

We love being published and this week we are sharing some of our recent featured weddings!

One of our all time favorites was featured in the recent D Weddings Magazine. Nicole Gravatt and Casey Gray were married in November at Beck Park in Dallas. The colors were lovely yellow and grey. Since Nicole is an interior designer – the vision was very clear and with loads of style and elegance. Our favorite parts (besides the beautiful stationery) – the hand strung crystals that hung from the ceiling in the reception venue. Nicole’s mom did them all by hand!

Joe Simon Wedding Films

July 20, 2010

I finally grabbed a moment to watch my lovely bride Kristen in her wedding video by Joe Simon. Stunning. I was smiling the entire time and then proceeded to watch 5 other videos! Each one making me wistful of my wedding day. That is some amazing work.
Anyways – wanted to share this amazing vendor with you all. Beware – it’s easy to watch video after video 🙂 Oh – an do it justice on a computer that has HD display!

Emily and Cameron at the Japanese Gardens

July 13, 2010

photography by Kym Skiles with f8

Emily was one of my favorite brides – super nice and lovely taste in invitations. Simply lovely. Emily married Cameron at the Fort Worth Japanese Gardens in an event with every detail looked too. Planned by Jordan Payne – these two had origami cranes hanging, fanciful fans to cool the guests and an exit in a petti cab.
The invitations were just as lovely. Robin’s egg blue envelopes addressed in gold with a custom font to match the invitations that had birds, layers of paper and rounded corners (love the rounded corners).

Kristen and Justin rock the W

July 5, 2010

My wonderful bride Kristen married Tyler in March and their wedding rocked! Love her pink shoes and short reception dress! Planner Jordan Payne really brought the details to the table. We did the modern kegan font in a grey color on shimmer silver envelopes for the addressing.

Brown and Blue Birthday Party Calligraphy

June 29, 2010

It’s still raining here and while editing photos I realized I never shared these! Lovely letterpress invitations and wrap labels for the envelopes for a 50th Birthday party held in 6 cities over 6 days. Tres exciting. All the printing and design was done by Color Box Designs and is so lovely!
