Dallas Event Calligraphy – place cards

August 1, 2016

You guys, this Dallas event calligraphy was filled with the most stunning details dreamed up by Gro Designs.

First off, I created a fun and flourished menu card in purple to match their gorgeous floral work.

The showstopper for me was the place cards written directly on these glamorous crystal chargers in purple ink and my signature flourished calligraphy.

I went on-site to the event location and penned each one on the table. It was fun and different and truly unique.

Event Calligrapher – Dos Jefes Dallas

June 22, 2016

Goodness, I love the Dallas nightlife scene and it is more fun when I get to see my calligraphy on the walls.  When Dos Jefes proposed a little bit of writing on the mirror above the bar, I knew it would be perfect with my modern calligraphy hand. The lipstick red paint really makes it stand out though.

Wedding invitation – VA Calligraphy

June 6, 2016

It is no secret that I adore designing and writing for a wedding invitation. When I get to partner with an amazing stationer and bride who want everything in calligraphy for the wedding invitation, program, menu, seating cards and thank you notes…. Life is good.

Here is a peek at what I did with Rock Paper Scissors for the lovely Katherine’s wedding stationery.

The invitation was beautifully letterpressed in a gorgeous teal color. The envelope addressing matched perfectly.  We chose a flourished calligraphy script that kept a happy playful feeling.  The edges were beveled and painted in a silver.  All invitation pieces were on a double thick crisp white paper.  A true luxury.

The program was flat printed using calligraphy and type with a tree illustration from the venue. It is perfect in combining the wedding invitation details with a slightly different look.  The tree is perfect for the ceremony on a lovely plantation. This was a folded piece with front and back printing for all the content.

calligraphy personal stationery

To finish everything off, Katherine chose to have note cards and calling cards made to complete her personal stationery moving into married life. She had note cards made with her maiden and married name so she could use them throughout the entire wedding process!  It is so nice to have custom note cards on hand to send any time.  These are just so beautiful – I would write notes to share with others!

Dallas Event Calligrapher Crawfish Boil

May 23, 2016

As a Dallas event calligrapher, I LOVE getting to work on different projects that push the event design. This fancy crawfish boil by Gro Designs was a fundraiser for Soluna was one of my favorite projects this event season.

Calligraphy was completed in my Samantha brush script using white ink.  This script is fun and casual and perfect for an evening getting dirty with your food.  Although, with champagne, a knife and fork on the table for a crawfish boil, I’m not sure how dirty these guests got!

Dallas Calligrapher – birthday party

May 13, 2016

As a Dallas calligrapher,  Southern Fried Paper is one of my favorite stationers to work with. This fun birthday party will show you exactly why. I’m more than smitten with the invitation that mimics the China used at Sissy’s Southern Kitchen, the beautiful colors and unique designs makes this event stationery one for the books.
