Wedding calligrapher – Tuscany

January 28, 2016

This wedding calligrapher is absolutely thrilled to see Regina and Ryan’s wedding up on Style Me Pretty Weddings – Destination this week. It was such a joy working with Regina and the team at Momental for her wedding calligraphy.

I provided totally custom calligraphy for Regina’s wedding suite and monogram. The team at Momental printed and added their extra special painting (to each one!) to finish the process. I then addressed the envelopes and guests were invited!

When it came to day of items, the result was stunning. I must admit, some of my very favorite day of stationery in a long long time. Look at those flowers!  Each white section was hand painted. Swoon. We used the calligraphy to match her invitations. Black for the escort card calligraphy and gold calligraphy for the place cards at the top of the menus.

I’m also in love with the beautiful programs.

Congratulations to Regina and Ryan on your wedding day.

Instagram wedding – Napa Calligraphy

January 21, 2016

It is always a privilege to contribute to an instagram wedding. On a rare occasion, said wedding is published in a beautiful magazine. Then I get to share some of the beautiful images with you. Congratulations to Nicole Schuetz (Surto CEO) and Kevin Systrom (Instagram founder) on your wedding and filling the pages of Vogue.

This ceremony set up is absolutely dreamy.  The wonderful chairs, the gorgeous layout all set in the lush gardens.  Also, aren’t those flowers stunning?

This long table with custom linens keep the garden theme alive.  A beautiful October day for a wedding.  Each place setting had a calligraphy place card attached to the napkin by an herb sprig.  I’m loving the purple goblets in different shapes.  It really gives dimension to the table.

Finally a glimpse at the invitation for this Instagram wedding created by Amber Moon Designs.  It was a leather wrapped box with drawer that pulls out to present the bound invitation with marble paper.  I did the guest addressing calligraphy using my talia hand in white on a green paper wrap to go around the box.

Unfortunately, only the photos released for public viewing can be shared (and not much calligraphy made the cut) – but the team who worked on this event did an incredible job.

Martha Stewart Calligrapher

January 11, 2016

Who wouldn’t want to shout from the roof – I am a Martha Stewart Calligrapher! ?  Sharing this from my Instagram feed because it’s awesome. I’ll share more of the wedding calligraphy detail photos soon. The bride is Martha’s niece and had her wedding at “aunt Martha’s”. Pretty cool bunch!  Here you can see a view of the tags created for the welcome box designed by A Signature Welcome.  I think these boxes are amazing.  And the perfect way to welcome and spoil wedding guests.  Perfectly tied with a bow and a little bit of calligraphy.  The morning after first aid with advil and water is one of my favorite features in the sweet box.  Also the fact that everything is branded to match their wedding invitation design.

New York calligrapher – menu

January 7, 2016

It’s so much fun to be a New York Calligrapher sometimes and I just love a classic dinner menu for a wedding. They are extra special when you add personalized place card names in a traditional copperplate calligraphy hand and have them engraved and edged in gold foil. Just love!

These menus are pretty small at just about 5.5 x 4.25. They did a nice job using a couple of different fonts to help make it readable at the petite size.  I think the menu will look lovely tucked in a napkin with the calligraphy name and monogram sticking out the top.

Florida calligrapher – sanibel destination wedding

January 4, 2016

It’s time to be a Florida calligrapher! When 2 industry friends marry it is a big celebration. Also lots of collaboration from their friends!  It was a privilege to provide a bit of calligraphy for John and Brittany.

These calligraphy escort cards were so lovely hanging from a tree.  The ombre color effect was designed by Emily Clarke and it turned out lovely!  With 4 different sea shell designs cut from wood, they were sturdy too.  The ink color used was also an ombre for design and legibility.

The rehearsal dinner place cards are stunning.  These tiny leather tags really added to the table design.  I’m always a big fan of white ink and on the brown leather… love!
