I loved working with a Munich company on this catalogue for spectacles. Each frame was named and had a different (but cohesive) lettering style. The cover is just stunning and every bit of the inside is beautiful. I have several picks for some new glasses now 🙂
Logo Calligraphy – Joyce Kang Photography Austin, Texas
I am smitten with the new logo for Joyce. Joyce Kang is a talented photographer based out of Austin, Texas and needed a refreshed look to express her style of photography. We created a custom logo that I feel truly represents her photography – happy and full of life and movement. She does such a great job at capturing her subjects personality and I hope I did the same for her. You can see the new look on her website and with a few lovely stamps to be used in her packaging. The large one is so large for packages – I LOVE IT!
I love this recent photo – and the watermark 🙂
Identity and Logo Calligraphy – Styling by Shawna Marie Dallas, Texas
Earlier this year I had the joy of working with a dear friend on the logo for her new styling shop – Event Styling by Shawna Marie. Shawna has an eye for the pretty previously working with Style Me Pretty. You have seen her work around the web here, here, and here. She needed an identity to match the classic versatility of her services and I set to work. We came up with a partial calligraphy logo that could also work with her interior design background by changing “Event” to “Interior”. It is clean and simple and does not push the trendy – perfect for a stylist who needs to have a wide range of ideas for creating such unique events.
Big thank you to HelmutWalker Photography for the lovely photos of her pretty letterpress business cards.

London Calligrapher – Logo for Photographer Eddie Judd
Hello! I am so pleased to announce the launch of British Photographer Eddie Judd’s new look. Her website is fresh feeling with the custom lettering, which reflects her photographic style to the max. I am thinking another trip to visit my mother in law is called for… and a session needs to be scheduled for my family!
I am loving the look of the logo watermarked on her gorgeous photos… how can you not? If feels personal and special but not over the top fancy…. like it could almost be her signature (if we all lived in the times of using dip pen and ink again!).
I also pulled together a few little “mini” logos to use on stickers and tags as she pleased. This was such a fun addition to the brand and definitely something everyone should consider when looking at a redesign.
Thank you Eddie for hiring me to work with you on your new look and I am so happy for the growth of your business! xoxo
Dallas Calligrapher – Personal Stationery
I am thrilled to share that my little sister graduated this past weekend with her Masters of Architecture. Yay Brittany! It has been a long 5.5 years in Lubbock and I am so ready for her to move a little closer to home 🙂
As a soon to be graduate we decided earlier this year that it was time to get her self branding in place for all the networking and resumes she would be sending out and thank you notes she would be writing after interviews. Since she has been signing her work as b.young, we decided to use that as her own personal logo. And since she is an Architect, we also wanted to keep the lettering on the crisp and clean side rather than uber flowy and pretty… but still reflect her aesthetics.
For both her calling cards and her personal stationery, I duplexed the sheets for added weight and color in a very masculine navy and light grey color combo. They were then letterpressed using the grey and navy colors. The look turned out to be clean and not over worked – very matter of fact.
Congratulations Brittany on your graduation and very memorable personal stationery. I know it will bring you tons of success while hunting for your first job!
