This past week I also had the pleasure of addressing the envelopes for a wedding in St. Lucia. This particular wedding was exciting for me because I believe it is the first time my work will travel to Alaska and England! Yay!!! This couple was great and I loved working on their envelopes done in black ink with the Citadel Script style. Enjoy the pictures.
Engaging Envelopes
This past week I had the pleasure of addressing the envelopes for a 50th Wedding Anniversary. The Invitations were adorable with the couple’s picture on the inside and the actual invitation printed in gold lettering. Thus, I got to letter the envelopes in gold ink using the Rook Script style.
I fell in love with these and know that the pictures do not do it justice because of the reflective nature of the gold! Enjoy.
WOW
I promise to have a real post later today.
However, I just found out that I was featured on the Blogger Hot List through my Google Analytics. So for the 59 of you in 17 countries who visited A Flick of the Pen on Friday, I just wanted to say thank you. I appreciate the comments and support and if you have any suggestions to making it better, let me know!
Until next time… Keep reading!

Goals for 2008
I know it may sound a bit late in the game to make resolutions…
However, I feel very strongly about making resolutions and writing them down (of course with a very steady and even hand!) so that I will achieve them. I have a notebook that I put all of my resolutions in and check up on my progress.
Once upon a time, I read an article about how you were 90% more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down.
To the point. I was surfing the Internet today (surprise) and found this retreat for calligraphers called Cherio. The one in May of 2008 looked to shine a refreshing and upbeat light on some of the old calligraphic standards. I hope to attend, so here is wishing for a successful 1st and 2nd quarter to help me get there.
If anyone out there is reading this and wants to go with me… let’s book it.
